Acqualagna – The truffle museum

The Museum was born to protect, pass down, and promote the anthropological, social, and cultural values of this excellent product of the earth, so mysterious, ancient, and precious. A journey to uncover the world of truffles is organized in three sections, each one leading to a special experience: “Discovery", “Initiation", and “Rarity". The Museum is provided with an area for gastronomic events and cooking classes. Together with the “Birthplace of Enrico Mattei" and the “Antiquarium Pitinum Mergens", it is part of the municipal museum system.

Acqualagna is located along the Flaminian Way, and lies in the middle of Gola del Furlo State Reserve. The town enjoys the beautiful landscapes of the mountains Pietralata and Paganuccio in the Northeast, and Catria and Nerone in the Southwest.
